The Life, Health and Strength Non-Profit (LHS) is dedicated to helping youth to attend to and succeed in the educational arena. The belief that “every child can and will learn with the proper educational resources” is echoed throughout the organizations work. Life, Health and Strength Non-Profit facilitates partnerships with key stakeholders to increase academic achievement of youth in the targeted communities.
The Mission of Life, Health & Strength Nonprofit Organization is to connect those in need with the community resources, monetary funding, peer assistance and inner strength that is required to overcome their current situation.
The Vision of LHS is empowering the youth in the designated area with need-based educational resources.

The Purpose of the LHS Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships to deserving high school graduating seniors, Undergraduates & Graduate students.
For 2021, the LHS Scholarship Fund’s award has no ceiling. LHS will be awarding many commissioned based scholarships, ranging in different amounts, based on applicant’s work ethic and productivity in the Small Business Initiative.

Criteria and eligibility (LHS Scholarship Fund applicants)

Applicant must at least be a graduating high school senior in the year of the award.

Applicants may not be related to any Board of Directors or staff for this presents a conflict of interest.

Applicants must be willing to participate in assistance of LHS Small Business 911 Initiative.

Application Process:
Applicant must submit the following items:

Personal Essay. Describe a time in your life that has shaped who you are as a person. Essay must be at least 1-2 typed pages, double-spaced, 12 pt / Time New Roman font.
